Ministries

It is our belief that God has called every Christian to service. Those who travel to distant jungles, or harsh deserts, or unbelieving nations
seeking to share the knowledge and power of Jesus Christ fight hard for the cause of Christianity. Those who toil daily at the workplace, at the
little league, at the school, and at home are equally called to share, through their words and their deeds, the knowledge
and power of Jesus Christ. We are not holy enough, noble enough, or righteous enough to earn a place in Heaven.
Christ bore our sins as the perfect sacrifice so that we may be freely given a home with Him.
Our works are in vain if we do not know Christ, but if we claim to know Christ and do no work - what good fruit do we produce?
We work, and look for ways to serve Christ because we love Him - and because He loves us. Upon that foundation, every Christian should be
about the work of living and serving and loving like a Christian. We are not perfect, but have a perfect example to follow.
These ministries are in part why we gather as a family of believers at Shiloh Baptist Church.
